- Trips to the beach
One of the best parts of summer in Rhode Island is the beach! At Tamarisk Senior Living, we are lucky enough to be just a short drive away from some beautiful beaches and views. The Tamarisk Senior Living shuttle brings residents from Tamarisk Senior Living to our beach of choice for afternoons of beach-side strolling or relaxation and then brings us all right back home in time to wash up before dinner. - Gardening
The amazing landscape and greenery the surrounds Tamarisk Senior Living is inspiring for any assisted living resident with a green thumb. Especially early in the summer, we have regular opportunities for residents to step outside to the Tamarisk Senior Living vegetable garden or work on some potted flower arrangements. Just recently, residents planted veggies and plants in some new raised planter boxes! - Outdoor dining
What could be better than a meal in the fresh air? Once the weather gets nice, everyone is ready for al fresco dining! And at Tamarisk Senior Living, there are multiple outdoor dining opportunities. During the summer months, our terrace is open and serving up fine dining from our kosher-certified kitchen and tasty barbeques grillside. For lunch, the Tamarisk Senior Living shuttle bus also transports any interested residents out on the town for a delicious afternoon eating out at local restaurants. - Walking
Tamarisk Senior Living is a truly peaceful sanctuary, with natural gardens that keep our grounds quiet, safe, and beautiful. Flower gardens, patios, trees, and paths encircle our assisted living community offering easy access and walking from any apartment. Residents love getting outside regularly to walk on the paths or to settle down at one of our many patios and enjoy the scenery. - Ice cream outings
What is more Rhode Island summer than ice cream? We all love it when the Tamarisk Senior Living shuttle takes us to a local ice cream shop for some scoops.
